Off-Peak Water & Space Heat

An Off-Peak system utilizes a thermal (heat) storage system that heats up during off-peak times, usually at night, and stores the heat for use the following day, at a lower electric rate. You can save almost 60% as compared to standard electric rates.

Off-Peak Water Heaters

Water heating can be a major expense for your household. Crow Wing Power has an off-peak water heater program that could save you hundreds of dollars every year. A separate electric meter keeps track of the electricity used by the water heater, which shows up on your electric bill at its discounted rate.
