New Cards were mailed in February giving you the same discounts you always received from regular retailers, however, the new cards can now be used for pharmacy discounts as well as regular discounts. Read below!

The Crow Wing Power member benefit program has given our members discounts at local participating business since 2001 and expanded nationally in 2005 when Touchstone Energy adopted it for cooperatives throughout the country.  The program is now offered to our fellow Touchstone Energy cooperatives, a nationwide alliance of more than 600 not-for-profit electric cooperatives, like Crow Wing Power.

The new Co-op Connections discount cards offer the same discounts members have enjoyed at participating area retailers with the added benefit of pharmacy discounts. Most pharmacies throughout the United States accept this card!!!

• Can members use this card if they have other insurance? Yes..use whatever is cheaper.

• Can members use the card for over-the-counter drugs? No

• Do members need to sign their name and account number on the back of the card? No, it's for members reference for acct number only.

• Is there a phone number for members to contact regarding drug prices, locations, etc? Yes the phone number is on the back of the cards under FOR PROVIDERS: 1-800-800-7616.

• Does Crow Wing Power encourage members to call the pharmacies with questions? No. We encourage members to go online or call the 800 # listed above.

The new pharmacy discounts offer 10% to 60% savings on most prescriptions at over 48,000 independent pharmacies throughout the country including most in our area.
To date,130 electric cooperatives, like Crow Wing Power, offer local and national discounts to cooperative members.

Your Co-op Connections card can be used locally and nationally at other participating businesses and pharmacies throughout the country. For example, Mille Lacs Energy, a sister Touchstone Energy Cooperative in Aitkin, is participating in the program. Businesses in the Aitkin area, as well as those in our region, offer valuable discounts to electric cooperative members who show their Co-op Connections card or key fobs. Break apart the key fobs when you get them in the mail and attach them to your key rings. Key fobs work just like the billfold card. Simply show them to participating businesses to receive a discount. There is no charge for this program. These are discount cards, not insurance or credit cards.
