Our employees not only work in the communities we serve, but they also live in those communities. From its humble beginnings in 1938 through today, this member-owned electric cooperative has teamed up with businesses, schools, and organizations throughout the area to strengthen and enhance our communities. We work hard to achieve a better quality of life for the people of Central Minnesota. With the spirit in mind, Crow Wing Power along with Touchstone Energy® is pleased to offer the Commitment to Community Award.

Each fall we invite businesses or organizations that exemplify a strong commitment to community to apply for this grant. Winners of the award are notified in November and given $1,000 and a plaque. 

The statewide winner receives an additional $1,000 and is honored at the Minnesota Rural Electric Association Annual Meeting in February.
