- In District 2 A, incumbent Gordon Martin received 2,146 votes and won the election over Paul Cibuzar’s 1,760 votes; Paul Thiede’s 978 votes; and John Terwilliger’s 723 votes.
- In District 3 At-Large, Paul Koering was re-elected with 2,921 votes against Mike Burton’s 2,668 votes.
A pancake breakfast was served by Chris Cakes from Iowa, who entertained the crowds by flipping and tossing pancakes for attendees to catch on their plates. We had demos and information from our Safety, Right of Way and other departments. Kids had many activities including horse rides by the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Mounted Patrol. They also had the opportunity to remotely control large utility equipment and diggers and ten lucky kids won bikes. Thank you to all who attended!
