Recently there has been a lot of press on the potential for 'rolling blackouts' this summer.  

From what we understand, albeit a low probability, controlled periodic outages could happen.  However, many, many load shed opportunities would come first and that usually can 'fix' the need.  If it were to happen, we are being told controlled outages would be conducted in the least intrusive way possible. Please understand these events are initiated by higher authorities than your cooperative.  This is the best information we have today and is subject to change.
