Concern for Community is one of the seven cooperative principles that guides Crow Wing Power and it's one of the values that drives us to find new ways to serve.
When we are able to go out into our communities, we get to focus on what really matters: people.
We are here to serve, and that’s what inspires us. Whether it means providing financial and community resources or simply saving time and money for our members, we do our best to continually make our community a wonderful place to be and a great place to do business.
Commitment to Community is one of the seven co-op principles and is the cornerstone on which cooperatives were first built. As a local co-op, Crow Wing Power calls the territories we serve home.
Crow Wing Power works to ensure that our area continues to be a good place to live, work and raise a family.
To do that we sponsor and participate in many local events and take an active role in economic development to help build and grow our cities, towns and neighborhoods.
We are keenly aware of our community's needs. We have a special program that helps human health and well-being programs. Crow Wing Power has nurtured these longstanding ties and deep roots since we formed in 1937.
Why is this commitment so important to us? We know that everyone benefits from a stronger community. Helping our neighbors is part of what Crow Wing Power has always been. As a member, you can take pride in that.
