From appliances to heating and cooling, small changes can mean big energy savings. Crow Wing Power encourages members to make their homes as energy-efficient as possible by offering a variety of rebates for new equipment purchases and energy-efficiency upgrades.
Residential Rebates
To apply for a rebate, members can easily submit a completed online or downloadable form. Depending on the equipment or service, rebates will be issued as a bill credit or check. Equipment or service must be installed where electricity is supplied by Crow Wing Power.
Please remember to include a copy of the sales or service receipt, dated within 90 days of purchase, with your rebate submission. Processing time typically takes 8-12 weeks.
If you prefer the traditional route, you can mail your printed rebates to Crow Wing Power at PO Box 507, Brainerd MN 56401.
This residential rebate amount is $25 in the form of a credit issued to your Crow Wing Power electric account. AC must be operational at time of tune-up, repairs are not covered. A limit of one rebate per customer account every other year and must be installed where electricity is supplied by the Cooperative. Central air conditioner must be in operating condition and at least two years of age.
This residential rebate amount is $800 for the purchase of a high efficiency ASHP system and installed where electricity is supplied by the Cooperative. This system must be installed in a residential property with air ducts from a forced-air system through the entire house.

This residential rebate amount is $25 (Clothes Washer, Electric Dryer, Dehumidifier) or $50 (Freezer-15 cubic ft min, Refrigerator-15 cubic ft min) in the form of a credit issued to your Crow Wing Power electric account per appliance. Any appliance must be Energy Star® rated and be a qualifying replacement of existing standard residential appliance. The old appliance must be permanently removed from service. Proper recycling is recommended. For qualifying products, visit www.energystar.gov. A limit of one rebate per member account. The appliance(s) must be installed where electricity is supplied by the Cooperative.
This residential rebate amount is $25 in the form of a credit issued to your Crow Wing Power electric account. It is for the purchase of new equipment, refurbished equipment is not eligible. Equipment must have an external battery and the battery must be included with the purchase of the unit. Equipment with a cord or integrated battery are not eligible. This unit must be used at an address served by Crow Wing Power. Multiple purchases of each unit, only qualifies for one rebate.
This rebate amount is $400 per qualifying boiler or plenum heater. Must be controlled by an approved Crow Wing Power Load Management Program. A limit of one rebate per member account and must be installed where electricity is supplied by the Cooperative.
This residential rebate amount is $25 in the form of a credit issued to your Crow Wing Power electric account. It is for new or replacement installation of a central air conditioning system and must be installed where electricity is supplied by the Cooperative.
This rebate amount is $150 per interior head, up to 5, in the form of a credit issued to your Crow Wing Power electric account. Heat Pumps must be Energy Star® rated. Limit one rebate per member account and must be installed where electricity is supplied by the Cooperative.

This residential rebate amount is $25 in the form of a credit issued to your Crow Wing Power electric account. The motor may be placed in a new or existing HVAC system. A limit of one rebate per member account and must be installed where electricity is supplied by the Cooperative.
This residential rebate amount is $1,500 for the purchase of a Ground Source Heat Pump (GSHPs). Limit one rebate per member account this system must be installed where electricity is supplied by the Cooperative.

This residential rebate amount is $300 in the form of a credit issued to your Crow Wing Power electric account. A limit of one rebate per member account and must be installed where electricity is supplied by the Cooperative.
This residential rebate amount is $50 per kilowatt (30kw max) and must be installed where electricity is supplied by the Cooperative.
This residential rebate amount is in the form of $400 discount for a new construction or converting from a gas water heater to off-peak or $300 discount to replace an existing off-peak water heater. Water heater must be purchased from Crow Wing Power to qualify.

This residential rebate amount is $20 issued in the form of a credit issued to your Crow Wing Power electric account. Thermostat must allow members the ability to access set points and schedule from anywhere using a smart device. (phone, tablet or computer). Limit of one rebate per member account and must be installed where electricity is supplied by the Cooperative.
