Crow Wing Power offers a wide range of programs and technologies to our members to help manage electricity use while ensuring reliability.
All-Electric Home
Crow Wing Power’s All Electric Home program is available for new home construction as a way to save money on your electrical costs. In exchange for allowing us to manage some of your energy needs, you pay a lower electric rate.
The All Electric Home program is for newly constructed homes utilizing electric heat and appliances with typical household energy use only. No home-based business or intentional usage beyond typical household energy use is allowed under this program. No onsite electrical production by means of solar, wind, or another form of generation is permitted under this rate.
- Participants will also be enrolled in Off-Peak Water Heating and Cycled Air Conditioning following each program's specific requirements.
- Participants receive all their electricity at a discounted rate of 8.175¢/kWh. (Includes the PCA effective 01/01/2018.)
