Steffes Electric Thermal Storage (ETS) systems have provided reliable comfort and warmth for years, as well as off-peak savings. As these systems reach 20 years old and older, they are nearing the end of their life cycle. Parts can become harder to find and repairs of the units may no longer be possible.
Now is the time to upgrade to a new system!
Steffes has created a replacement program that helps members upgrade their old systems to new Steffes ETS systems. For a limited time (April 1 - September 30, 2026) Steffes is offering manufacturing incentives to participating utilities like Crow Wing Power to help reduce installation costs. Installation must be completed by October 15, 2026 for the rebate to apply.
