Washington Youth Tour: A Unique Leadership Experience

High School Juniors Apply to WIN an all expense paid trip to Washington D.C. on June 17-22, 2025

The Washington Youth Tour is a prestigious national leadership program where students are chosen and sponsored by their local electric cooperatives. As a student from one of these high schools—Aitkin, Brainerd, Crosby-Ironton, Little Falls, Northland, Pequot Lakes, Pierz-Healy, Pillager, Pine River-Backus, Royalton, Staples-Motley, or Walker-Hackensack-Akeley—you have the opportunity to apply for this incredible experience.

If selected, you’ll travel to Washington, D.C., with other students from Minnesota. During the tour, you’ll connect with dynamic student leaders from across the country, exploring common interests and building lifelong friendships.

The trip includes visits to some of the nation’s most iconic memorials and monuments, along with tours of world-renowned museums. You’ll also have the unique opportunity to meet with your state representatives and other congressional staff, engaging in discussions about issues that impact you, your family, and your community.

The Washington Youth Tour is more than just a trip—it's an opportunity to learn, grow, and make a difference. If you're a high school junior from one of the eligible schools, consider applying for this unforgettable experience.
